Thanks to "E----" for providing many of the updates to GARTV! My apologies to everyone for the delays in posting new news on this site. This site started as a hobby TWO years ago and since it is a hobby, sometimes personal and work/business issues get in the way of hobbies. I promise in the future to pay better attention to keeping this site updated. Thanks to everyone who has visited this webpage over the past couple of years and for providing updates and asking questions! Also, please be advised that because of this website I get a lot of SPAM messages daily. It is becoming more difficult in finding e-mail messages that are NOT spam! She was the evening co-anchor with Frank Malloy on 13 WMAZ's newscasts for 6 years and was very active in Macon area activities. | CW Network Update: Macon (1/28/06) WGNM-64(UPN) will not join the new CW network. The station was purchased by the Christian Television Network in 2004 and had a contract as a UPN affiliate until September 2nd, 2006. They already planned to offer only CTN programing after that. Macon CBS affilate WMAZ-13 expressed intrest in carrying UPN on a digital subchannel. Current WB affiliate is Cox Communications (Cable). Whether the CW network will be available in Macon remains uncertain. |
